Welcome to the Lethbridge Curling Club Website! In 1887, the Lethbridge Curling Club became the first organized club in Alberta. Initially curlers had to supply thier own stones and curling fees were $10.00 per season. We have come along way since then. We moved into the Civic Center in 1950 and our club has undergone many upgrades since then. As a result of these continued improvements, we have gained a reputation as one of the best Curling Clubs in Alberta. |

2009 - 10 Membership Information Booklet We will be sending out the 2009 - 10 Membership Information Booklet in early in August and will also be posting it online. If you have moved or changed your email address please let us know so that you will get your copy in time for the early registration. We are also looking to reduce or mailing costs this season, so if you can live with an electronic version or download a copy from our website, please let us know. (Jun 22)

Curling on the Bachelorette On the next episode of The Bachelorette (Monday, June 8 at 8 PM on ABC) Jillian goes home to Vancouver with the 13 remaining bachelors. 2009 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship Switzerland wins Gold, Hungary wins Silver and Canada wins Bronze. Follow these links for stories about the championship including an article written by Sean Grassie, representing Canada at these championships.
2009 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship Gyuri Nagy and Ildi Szekeres representing Hungary will be competing in this the 2nd WMDCC in Cortina d'Ampezzo Italy Apr 18- 26. You will remember them from their training in our club this year and in previos years. Last year they finished tied for 7th and look for them to improve their record for this year.
