Junior Curling Program A lot of work has been put into our Junior Curling Program the last few months and the work will continue to create the best experience for all of our Junior's.  I am pleased to announce Tim Horton's will be the title sponsor of our Junior Curling Program for the 2011 - 2012 season.  With the help of sponsors like Tim Horton's and our other Junior sponsors we have the resources to develop and increase our Junior Program going forward. Juniors will still get the qualified instrucdtion to teach them everything about the game of curling but we are really going to try focusing on making sure the kids have fun!  Insteade of teaching them how to curl and then hoping they have fun, we want to make sure they have fun first and foremost while incorporating the techniques of curling to them.  If we can get the kids used to being on the ice, sweeping, sliding, throwing rocks and having fun doing it, then the desire to learn and become a better curler will follow. With the 2012 Senior Provincials being held at our club and the 2012 Ford World Women's Curling Championship being held in Lethbridge at the Enmax Centre, it will be a great year for kids to discover or continue curling! If you are a parent or a member of the curling rink and would like to help out with the program, we would be more than happy to have you.  You don't have to be a curler to help us out. Registration for the Junior Curling Program will start Thursday September 8th 10am to 7pm or Friday September 9th 4pm to 8pm (BBQ to) for both returning and new Junior curlers.  The Junior Curling Program will run again on Wednesday afternoons from 4:15pm to 5:45pm.  The first day of curling is Wednesday October 5th and will run until the middle of March.  We are also pleased to let you know the Junior fees have been reduced from last year!
