20 GAME FORMAT
Continuing this season, we are going to group the teams that ended the season in the A and B Pools (designated 1 – 20 after the final game of the previous season) and they play off the first two games. The teams with the best record – including Draw the Button (DTB) would be placed higher in the standings. For the DTB, at the conclusion of each of the first two games, each team will select one player to throw the DTB with sweeping and the results will be used to break any ties in the standings. The same format will apply for C and D pools. We will use the same format for all leagues.
At the conclusion of the first squares, the top four teams in each square will move up to the group above them and the bottom 4 teams in each square will drop to the square below (A top 4 and D Bottom four will not move).
The second square will begin with the new teams and at the end of the season the Men’s, Women’s, Mixed and Open teams with the best winning percentage will be declared our Club Champions. This change in the schedule will ensure all games are important to your overall standing in your respective league.
